The California State Fair is proud to continue the 172-year tradition of showcasing the Best of California during the 2026 California State Fair. Competitors from across the state will compete for top honors and cash prizes. Enter the competition that best suits your talents!

• Student Showcase

• Fine Art

• Plein Air

• Photography

• Film Festival

Entry Deadlines:

• California Crafts, Student Showcase, Fine Art, and Photography: May 8

• Film Festival: June 8

• Plein Air: July 10

Entry fees range from $10-$20, depending on the competition.

Accepted entries will be judged where selected artwork will receive awards. All accepted entries will be displayed during the CA State Fair from July 17 through August 2^nd. Please refer to the above website for more information.
